Outdoor fun in Oltrepò between playground and ice cream

The Oltrepò is wonderful in fine weather: with all its shades of green, it is an ideal place for children to play outdoors.
Where to find playgrounds in Oltrepò Pavese?
🛝In the pre-hill area, there is, for example, a well-maintained playground in Verretto, on Via Mazzini.
⛲The playground in Broni on Via Leonardo da Vinci offers shade and drinking fountains, perfect for hot sunny days.
💚In the heart of Stradella ‘s city gardens is a beautiful, fully enclosed playground, ideal for safe play. Well equipped with games for toddlers and even slightly older children, it is the perfect place for a fun break among the trees and flowerbeds.
The Portalbera playground is very nice and well maintained. Surrounded by greenery, shady and equipped with tables and benches for carers.
🌳Going instead up into the hills, in the locality of Castagnara in Pietra De’ Giorgi, we find a small play area, very shady because it is surrounded by trees, near the Church of Santa Maria Assunta and the Chiesa-oratorio dell’Addolorata.
🛝At Golferenzo there is a nice spacious playground, great for entertaining children on slides and swings, with a picnic area convenient for an outdoor snack.
🎠The Fabio Politi playground in Via XXV Aprile in Santa Maria della Versa has slides, swings and trees for shade.
🛝In Rovescala , there is a colourful and safe playground with rubberised non-trauma ground, perfect for the little ones to play in peace.
🛝At Fortunago in Via Roma in the playground there is also a small trampoline. Kids – as you know – love to jump, usually in mud puddles, but without rain and rubber boots, trampolines are also a good alternative.
🛝On the Val Tidone road, we find Casa Matti PV, which has its own pretty little playground.
There is also a nice playground in Torricella Verzate, the Carlo Boatti Park in Via Roma: it has rubberized ground and games such as a slide and swing that are also suitable for children under three. Perfect for a safe break in the open air!
🏔️A Cigognola, while the little ones enjoy themselves on the installed games, the adults can admire the hilly panorama.
🛝OlivaGessi PV has a small, collected play area with benches that allow parents to keep everyone under control.
⚽Montescano has its own playground with a section of lawn for playing ball and also a couple of tables for stopping for a snack. It is located in Via Roncole.
These are public parks, ideal for spending a few hours in the open air with children’s games.
🎡If, on the other hand, you want to spend a whole day of fun, remember Cowboyland, the large western-themed amusement park in Voghera , and the exciting Salice Terme Adventure Park.
😉Naturally, after running and playing, the next stop will be some good restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner, or a trip to the ice-cream parlours in Oltrepò Pavese.
